Dear Family, I had the great opportunity to play golf with Bill at Goose Creek Golf Course in Leesburg, Virginia from 1991 through 2004. He was fun to play with—he entertained me with stories from his many years serving overseas—and he always was a true gentleman!!I am proud to claim him as a golfing friend, and I will miss him!!
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and the entire family. God bless.
Sending deepest sympathies…May you rest in peace Uncle Bill!
Uncle Bill will be remembered by me for his wit and his larger than life personality. His passing is a great loss for his family, and he will be deeply missed. Love to Anne, Stephen and Brent.
Steve & Brent, I’m sorry about your dads’ passing. I liked him. My mom Emailed me the news. As much as I’d like to pay my respects at the funeral, I regret I won’t be able to make it, but I’ll be thinking of ya’ll.
Dear Steve and Brent, There are too many memories to share. We became very close friends in India and continued our friendship over the course of 50 years. Your Dad and I had a lovely conversation Christmas while he was staying with you, Steve. I will treasure that. Your Dad was one of a kind. There are no more like him. He will be missed every day. Sorry I could not be at the funeral, but will visit his grave at a later date. You’re in my thoughts and prayers. Fondly, Donna
