Aaron E. Wilkins, II
August 11, 1934 ~ April 30, 2015
Aaron E. Wilkins, II Phd, Col. US Army (Ret), passed away peacefully at his home in Palm Coast, Florida on April 20, 2015. He had suffered for several years with a pulmonary condition.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dr. Gloria Wilkins; sons, Aaron III (Sandra) and Anthony (Donna) and grandson, Aaron James.
He was a 1955 graduate of Howard University, a member of Alpha Phi Alpha and a student from the ROTC program. Many honors were presented to him during his 26 years of service in the Army. Upon retirement, Aaron worked as a project manager for companies in Pennsylvania and Virginia. The last 13 years was spent teaching at NASA.
Graveside services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery on Friday, March 18 at 1:00 PM at the Columbarium with full military honors.
