Pat moved to Burlington, Vermont from Riverside, Connecticut in high school. It was at Cathedral High that he met Sylvia. They shared thirty-eight years of marriage and raised their three sons in Burlington. A graduate of Holy Cross College class of ’55, Pat proudly served in the Air Force and subsequently in the Air National Guard Green Mountain Boys. He spent his professional career at NCR, IBM and Arrowsmith Industries.
Pat was passionate about golf. In his retirement, he ran the pro shop at the Marble Island Golf Course in Colchester, and he also enjoyed volunteering at the PGA‘s Honda Classic golf tournament during his winters in Florida. Pat also enjoyed traveling and he loved telling stories about his visits to Ireland and Hawaii and his river cruise down the Danube.
Most of all Pat loved his family and got great joy from having them together. He also loved Vermont where fittingly we will have a family celebration of a life well-lived later this year. Donations can be made in Pat’s honor to Vermont Public https://www.vermontpublic.org/ the public television and radio station where he often volunteered.
