Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. It is with deep sadness that we learned of Sterling’s passing. We have such good memories from our times in Boston and Hong Kong. Jhan Schmitz and Connie Brennan

  2. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this moment. We have nothing but the fondest memories of Sterling. Each time I think back on the daily experiences we had together in Hong Kong brings a smile to my face. Sterling loved to tackle complex problems that required deep analysis. He couldn’t adequately discuss a topic without heading to the board to draw a diagram or outline a process. I called him “the professor” for his profound analytical approach. He particularly favored the very difficult challenges which would involve a “series of imponderables”. In the end he was a facilitator, educator, team builder and a truly great colleague. He was a true gentleman and scholar. I miss his sense of humor through each and every challenge we shared. Sterling is a very special person and a friend I will truly miss. Knute and Stacey Ruggaard

  3. Dear Brisbin Family, For some reason I had been thinking of Sterling (“Biff”) quite a bit this past year, remembering many happy times as kids in our group of friends and classmates in Cazenovia Central School (“Briars” always sat in front of “”Brisbin” in the typical alphabetical seating throughout most of our school years), together in the childrens’ choir at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, summers at Willow Bank Yacht Club, as well as growing up on Lincklaen Street. Biff was always a good friend and my brother Jim was friends with Jamey. I am so terribly sorry to hear of his passing! I will always remember him fondly and I give my most heartfelt condolences and greetings to you, his family. Most sincerely yours, Barbara Briars Vittucci

  5. It is with deep sadness that I have learned of Sterling’s passing only last night 06 Jan 2014. We worked together in Muscat (sultanate of Oman) on the New Airport project. Best regards Jeff

  6. Dear Mary – We just learned of Biff’s death through Tom Mongan. We have great memories of our all too short time together in San Francisco. Tom has kept us posted on your family, work and travel adventures through the years, but I wish we had made the effort to keep in touch with you two “in person”. We send our affection and sympathy to you. Kate and David
