It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Thomas Neal Simon, who left us on April 1, 2025. He was born on February 24, 1957, in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania.
Tom is survived by his beloved son, Tyler Simon; his brother, Jay Allen Simon; as well as many cousins and dear friends who will continue to carry his memory. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Gerald Simon.
A true lover of the outdoors, Tom found peace and joy hiking the mountains of Virginia and scuba diving off the shores of Florida. He had a lovable personality, an infectious sense of humor, and an ability to bring laughter to any room. His warmth and kindness touched the hearts of everyone who knew him, and he will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of crossing his path.
In this time of loss, we remember the many wonderful moments shared with Tom and find comfort in the legacy of love, laughter, and adventure he leaves behind. Rest in peace, Tom.
I met Tom when I was about 15 years old and I will miss the life we shared and the countless memories . He had such a fun and silly sense of humor, a kind hearted nature and was one of kind. He will forever be in my heart.

You will be missed. Always remember the Cherry bomb that did not explode. And all the great Summers we had together at your house. Jay I am truly sorry for your loss.

Tom could always make me laugh. He worked hard and his mind was always alive with keen observations about life. I’m so thankful Helen got to meet him and love him as i do and did. I learned a lot from him and will take his memory to my own end knowing his kindness and stories, words and deeds improved my life so much. Bon voyage my good friend.
Meetcha you backa beachside!
Jay, Pam and I are sorry for your loss. I have great memories of our family gatherings when we were young. There was always something crazy going on and it was usually our parents! Tom was a good brother and man. He will be missed.
