Guestbook

  1. Dear Bud and family, My heartfelt and sincere condolences go out to Linda and the entire Hansen family. Bud and I first met on a beautiful and sunny day nearly 4 years ago at the WWII Memorial; a place to celebrate victory and honor. He immediately became friends with my great uncle John, also a WWII veteran. My hope is that the family can take comfort in knowing that Bud and my great uncle Johnnie are now angels in Heaven, making everyone laugh and guiding us from above in all that we do. Although we only met a few times, thoughts of you Bud are forever etched into my mind. God bless you and may God grant peace and fond memories to the entire family. Read more about our meeting at the WWII Memorial by visiting my tribute to Bud at soldiersandsailors.us . My best regards, Eric Montgomery

  2. My Dad was a Magnet. Dad had a unique ability to socialize with people from all walks of life. From small children to fellow war veterans. His personality and humor made quick friends and lasting memories. His stories, jokes and antics have been passed down through the families for generations.Great-Grandchildren are now starting to recite what they call “Bud-liners”. It wasn’t till i was older and a bit wiser did i realize how many of his stories were teaching tools that helped one move on in life. I am so thankful for the time i had with you on this earth and the many memories that i will cherish. Goodbye Dad. I love you. Walter, Amy, Zack and Bobby… May your memories last forever. Linda….My heart cries for you. Dad and you had a great love for each other and that was a good thing. Lyn…I hope the Vatican approves your Sainthood soon. You deserve it. Billy
